My take

5. Mondragon — Best for Experimental Digital Studios

Mondragon is one of the more visually ambitious options on this list.

What I've Learned From Building 24+ Framer Websites

I've worked across 14+ Framer templates and 10+ client websites, and one thing has become clear:

The template that looks best in the demo isn't always the template I'd want to build a real business website with.

Here are 2 things I now look at before aesthetics.

1. CMS structure becomes more important as you grow

Three manually created project pages aren't a problem.

Twenty can be.

If an agency expects to publish projects regularly, I strongly prefer a CMS-driven portfolio.

You create the content once and let a reusable project-detail structure handle presentation.

That's why templates such as Fabrica, Manner, Noora, Kanso and Aldena caught my attention.

2. Always imagine the template without its demo content

This is probably my biggest piece of advice.

When evaluating a template, mentally remove:

• The beautiful photography

• Perfectly sized headlines

• Fake client logos

• Carefully art-directed projects

• Placeholder testimonials

Then ask:

Would this structure still work with my actual content?

That's a much better test than asking whether the Marketplace thumbnail looks impressive.

Which Framer Agency Template Should You Choose?

There isn't one objectively best agency template.

There is a best template for the type of agency you're building.
